My S4 has a gazillion hours on it. I ended up fighting the issue where the thermistor wigs out only when you are printing but not when it's just sitting still. Tried wiggling every wire on the machine and couldn't get it to mess up. Internet says there is a capacitor in the original 8 bit board that has failed and causes the issue. This board checks all the boxes. I like the fact that it is laid out so well and every terminal is properly labeled. I love the 32 bit board with the silent drivers. This board coupled with the TH3D software is all you should ever need. My S4 is printing better than it ever has. The steppers are now so quite that it alarmed me when I saw the machine moving but did not hear anything.

You do need the longer cable for the Ender S1 Plus model.
The display works better than the OEM and has much better function.

I honestly don't know how many stars to give this. Because here's the thing, this came with everything I needed to install the fan. The video you have to watch was pretty good. The screws didn't come labeled, so I did feel like I was guessing what screw was which and just hoping for the best. The prints I was able to do were doing great, so far as I could tell.

What drops this down dramatically, is that the fan fell off. I don't know if I was sent wrong parts or if the parts were printed wrong, but there was something wrong with the plate that goes on the back of the print box. It looks like the slots where the screws go in have busted, so now I have to go find better screws at my local hardware store and I don't know how successful that will be. If I can't, I'm now left with a useless and expensive printer because once you upgrade the fan, that's it. It’s a pretty permanent change since you literally have to cut the stock fan wires and solder them to the upgrade.

Giving a 3 star as I am on the fence with this product. 3 chokes at the LCD end are not really doing a lot more than adding a ferrite bead to the LCD cable. Great if it works for you, all power, but I noticed no difference, and honestly out of my 10 ender printers, 5 with SKR boards, 5 with 4.2.2 Creality boards, I only had an issue with interference on 1 printer. So that's 9 out of 10 that had no issues at all. I did try this add on, but it made no difference. I think most people that have issues with the display and encoder are going to have faulty mainboards more often than EMI issues.
My background is electronics engineering, and although the devices out of China are minimal with filtering, the Biqu (BigTreeTech) boards are actually well designed. Creality a little less so, but the issue of EMI is not as big as people make out

The things on the PCB are not "chokes", they are pullup resistors - someone with electronics engineering background should know this. The issue these boards aim to fix are the encoder being pressed or increasing/decreasing as if you were turning the knob. This will NOT correct display corruption and it is not sold as fixing that issue. It is only meant to mitigate the encoder issue by pulling the lines up to 5V instead of them being left floating with just the boards internal pullup on those IO pins. Issues with LCD corruption are usually due to a 3.3V rail that is not at the correct voltage.

I have been wanting to use Unified 2 since before I had any Printers. I have 2 printers now an Anet A8 (less fire prone now) and an Ender 3 Pro. I plan on trading out the boards on both too. The most difficult install was on the A8 due to it being an 8bit board, but overall not hard.
